ASR

The request that the IXC sends to the LEC to provision the local loop portion of the circuit. Once the LEC receives the ASR, they will respond with a FOC date indicating when they will complete the local loop. The ASR is the point in the provisioning process at which an order is handed off from the IXC to the LEC.
