CIDR
From Bandipedia
Classless Inter-Domain Routing allows network administrators to subdivide a block of IP addresses to create more usable address space. CIDR addresses are normally noted in the format of 113.24.34.111/24. In this case, /24 indicates that the entire .111 portion of the block (256 addresses) has been allocated to the client.
