Choosing a DSL carrier
From Bandipedia
When choosing a DSL carrier, Here are a few things that you might want to consider:
- What type of DSL service the ISP provides. For example: IDSL, ADSL,or SDSL.
- Find out the maximum speed possible both upload and dowload.
- Make sure to compare pricing.
- Find out what equipment will be installed.
- Compare installation and setup fees, if any.
- Look for an ISP that will give 24/7 Tech Support
- Compare Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Regardless of which DSL carrier you choose, the actual DSL line comes from your local telephone company.
