Do I need VoIP?

From Bandipedia

First and foremost, does a company need to make a change? What is driving the want for VoIP at a company? Is the deciding factor is based on something heard on the radio, something read, something a business owner was told, or if there is a phone system that needs to be updated, additional features that are needed, money that needs to be saved? The first question that should be asked is, why is it necessary to make this change. If there is a legitimite reason, the next question is: What exactly is needed?

Voice over IP comes in many flavors, shapes, and sizes. Some people just need dial tone. Some people just need unlimited LD. Some people need full feature functionality. So it comes down to the individual customer what is needed. Ultimately things depend on whether or not can their network handle Voice over IP, and whether or not they need tier-1 connectivity to carry Voice over IP.

The need for VoIP is based on finding out what they need, make sure they understand the technology, and finally make sure they understand the commitment on their end to make it work, and make it work right.
