Adding Content

Review the Topics Needed for a list of articles that we are currently requesting content. Should you be able to contribute, please do

  1. Log In or Create A User Account and create it.
  2. e-mail the content to wiki@bandwidth.com
  3. dictate your idea and article (we’ve found that most people talk faster than they write, so this might be helpful) to the wiki hotline at (919) 297-1069

Should you have an idea of articles that we should have, or enclyopedia entries (definitions, etc), but don’t see them please e-mail wiki@bandwidth.com with your suggestions and we’ll be sure to add them to the list

Bold: place ' ' ' in front of and behind ' ' ' (without spaces) a word or phrase

Bold Italics: place ' ' ' ' ' in front of and behind ' ' ' ' ' (without spaces) a word or phrase

  1. Numerating: Place a # at the beginning of a statement
  • Bullets: Place a * at the beginning of a word or phrase

Creation of Sections:

sections are created using the following notation = before and after = the section title text (this creates a 1st Level Section)

2nd Level Section

sections are created using the following notation == before and after == the section title text

3rd Level Sub-section

sections are created using the following notation === before and after === the section title text

4th Level Sub-subsection

sections are created using the following notation ==== before and after ==== the section title text

Links:

Create an external link using the following syntax [ URL Name of Site ] (there should only be a space between the URL and the Name of the Site): title of your link here.

In most cases, it is preferable to enumerate external links. By using the syntax [ URL ] (without spaces), for example [1], this will number each link that is used. Group external links together at the bottom of the article in enumerated format under the heading:

External links

  1. title of your link here
  2. title of your link here

Internal Links:

The use of links to other articles, [ [ Name of Article ] ] (without spaces) for example, George W. Bush, is encouraged and should be used to help a user flow into other area of content. Use the links for all words and terms that are relevant to the article.
