Interactive Voice Response from Database Systems Corp.

Database Systems Corp. provides call processing systems and outsourcing services. In Computer Telephony, IVR (which is short for Interactive Voice Response) is a computer / phone system including controlling software that allows an individual, typically a caller, to choose an option from a phone menu and interact with the computer system. Generally the system plays pre-recorded voice prompts to which the person presses a number on a telephone keypad to select the option numbers in answer to the voice prompts.

IVR Applications

IVR Phone Applications are becoming very popular today for both private and public groups. Data is being provided to community members and clients on a 24 x 7 basis.

Outbound IVR

IVR is typically associated with an inbound calling campaign. However, IVR technology can be applied to outbound calling campaigns and are most commonly refered to as Voice broadcasting with touchphone response. This is sometimes referred to as Outbound IVR.
