Port
From Bandipedia
An Access Loop alone does not provide Internet access. The access loop must be connected to a portal or “port†of an Internet Service Provider in order for the user to have IP connectivity. The port of an ISP is found on an edge router housed in a telecom facility nearest to the user’s premise. These edges are called Points of Presence or POPs.
