Satellite Installation/Provisioning
From Bandipedia
Satellite is installed by mounting an antenna to an outside wall using standard tri-mast roof/wall mounting brackets, or on a rooftop using standard non-penetrating mount, or a ground pole mount (9 ft. total length). All antennas must be mounted a minimum of 5 ft. off the ground and out of the reasonable reach of small children.
Satellite service requires two exterior cable runs or one dual cable run of up to 150 feet of standard RG6 coaxial cable with one point of entry through an exterior wall to an interior wall, as well as the installation of a wall jack.
A connection is established between ground wire from ground block to an approved bonding point. Cable bushing is installed and weather sealed.
A cross-polarization test is conducted to verify receipt of satellite signal.
