VoIP QoS Devices

From Bandipedia

A VoIP Quality of Service device is a device that is used to assure voice quality, reduce jitter and echo, as well as record MOS scores.

In some cases, the hardware QoS router also contains a firewall and is used in a mixed data and voice environment where it also serves the purpose of prioritizing voice packets over that of data packets on the same circuit.

An example of this hardware would be the Edgewater Networks' line of EdgeMarc Appliances.A VoIP Quality of Service device is a device that is used to assure voice quality, reduce jitter and echo, as well as record MOS scores.
