Thomas Ginter

Thomas Ginter is a 911 Solutions Engineer, Certified Professional Engineer, and 911 industry veteran. His focus on emergency services began in 1995 where he chaired the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) working group on Emergency Services and was a contributing author to the resulting standards. He has been engaged in the design, development and deployment of emergency services technologies supporting cellular, 2G, 3G and 4G wireless mobile systems; for voice over IP (VoIP) 911 systems; for text-to-911 systems all on a national scale as well as state-wide systems for Next Generation 911. Thomas holds a dozen U.S. patents in the areas of emergency services, wireless location determination, financial fraud analytics and SIM card technology. His most recent patent, US 10,367,947 was issued in July 2019 and is titled “Techniques for Migrating Legacy 911 Systems to NG-911 Systems."
