Zenoss, an Internet communications firm, announced earlier this week that it is partnering with Bandwidth in order to give its customers the highest quality assurance and telecom availability. Bandwidth has a nationwide all-IP network that employs a software-driven approach that allows for new communications technologies to be entered into the market when they are available.
“Our IP network supports some of the most important communications technologies on the market today—including Google, Republic Wireless and Earthlink to name a few,” said Steve Leonard, EVP and General Manager of Bandwidth said in a recent release. “Our customers require—and deserve—the highest levels of service and uptime we can offer. Zenoss is the only scalable, automated monitoring and analytics platform that can manage our infrastructure at the speed and scope that we need to be successful.”
For its part, Zenoss is now able to offer either on-site or cloud based Internet communications services. There are now unified, automated performance and availability monitoring. The company also offers some top of the line event management for a company’s entire IT infrastructure. All of this comes at a time when VoIP business services are only getting more popular. Companies all over the world are seeing the benefit of moving from the old school type of telephone system and towards a system that allows them to run their phone network through the Internet.
There are a number of companies all working become better when it comes to VoIP and other Internet based communications platforms such as video conferencing and other UC technologies. The problem is that there haven’t been enough new pieces of technology, partly because companies aren’t set up to adapt all that quickly when there are. The partnership between Zenoss and Bandwidth will allow better adaptation.
