Sr. Analyst, Network Cost Management

What We Are Looking For:

A Sr. Analyst, Network Cost Management is responsible for a variety of network cost invoices including auditing, identifying, summarizing, and presenting disputed charges with vendors and negotiating dispute settlements.  You will work with a variety of internal teams to review any internal processes causing cost variances while reviewing possible process improvements.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure complete reconciliation of monthly network cost invoices
  • Analyze Feature Group D switched and special access invoices, Local Interconnection Network and Wholesale invoices
  • Effectively compare invoice costs to expected invoice costs to identify any cost variances
  • Lead analysis of internal and external data sources to identify root cause of invoice variances
  • SME of vendor contracts and tariffs to ensure appropriate vendor billing accordingly
  • Manage and communicate open disputes with vendors and follow-up regularly to ensure resolution
  • Provide departmental reporting of vendor statistics, outstanding disputes and outstanding issues resulting in cost variance

  • Network Support & Development

What You Need:

  • Bachelor Degree or 5-year relevant telecommunications work experience
  • +5 years telecommunications experience & Financial Analysis experience
  • Knowledge of LERG, State & Federal Access Tariffs, Interconnection Agreements & Direct Peering Agreements, Carrier Access Billing Systems (CABS) & Telecommunication Vendor Invoice Management Best Practices
  • Advanced SQL & Excel skills, CCMI Access Tariff Database Management

Bonus Points:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of telecom experience, additional experience in lieu of
  • Experience with Telecom Vendor Cost Management, Financial Analysis, Voice Usage & Circuit Analysis
  • Knowledge of LERG, Switched Access Tariffs, ICA Agreements
  • Experience with SQL, Microsoft Office, Google Applications
