What's happening?
Two carriers are updating their SMS surcharges on July 1, 2023.
Verizon will begin charging a higher fee for unregistered 10DLC SMS traffic:

Claro is updating their long code SMS rate:

Claro - PR | $0.0045 | $0.0065 |
These carriers are not currently communicating any upcoming changes to 10DLC/ long code MMS surcharges.
What do I need to do?
Please continue to register your traffic in order to avoid the higher unregistered surcharges from Verizon.
