Registering a brand is a one-time setup that you'll be asked to do only if you have yet to complete it. You'll also be asked if you're a reseller or not. A reseller is someone who supports multiple brands besides their own. They're reselling Bandwidth's services and will be able to register additional brands besides their own.
Registering your brand
Log in to the Bandwidth App
In the side navigation bar, select Campaigns and click Brands.
Note: If you don't see the Campaigns tab, your account may not yet be enabled. Please open a support ticket or reach out to your Bandwidth Account Manager for assistance.
On the Local A2P page, click Register My Brand to begin the brand registration process.
Complete the Brand Details form and click Next.
Note: For US entities, select the legal form that corresponds to the entity's federally registered classification. The "Nonprofit" entity type is designated for charitable organizations registered with and recognized as 501(c)3 organizations by the US Internal Revenue Service. Such organizations are required to submit their US Employer Identification Number (EIN) and indicate "Tax ID Country" as "US." Non-US nonprofit entities should be submitted under the "Private Profit" entity type.

Within an hour of brand creation, your brand status should show as verified or unverified. If your brand is unverified, edits to the information provided, an appeal, or external brand vetting may be required. The brand verification process was devised around U.S. entities, so prepare for an additional step if you are registering a non-U.S entity.
Editing brands
To edit either your brand or your customer brand, click the Edit button next to the brand you'd like to update. This will bring up the Brand Details form where you can make your edits.
Note: Certain brand fields are not editable once they've been registered and may trigger a re-score of the brand from TCR. Certain brand fields may also not be editable if active processes are tied to the brand, such as an active campaign or external brand vetting.
Appealing a Brand Status
If you have confirmed the brand details are correct, but the brand remains unverified, you may open a ticket with our Registration Support Group to process an appeal. To appeal, you must provide a copy of the EIN Confirmation Letter (CP 575), the EIN Verification Letter (147C), or the government-issued documentation of the respective tax number provided.
