Alphanumeric Sender IDs in India are destined for international companies only and are not available for local Indian companies. Although Sender ID registration is not required, your traffic must comply with the following requirements in order to mitigate the risk of being blocked:
Gambling and cryptocurrency traffic is forbidden
The traffic must be delivered on short codes
Type of traffic allowed:
By origin: International traffic only
By content: Transactional traffic only
Note: Because of very tight messaging restrictions, traffic may still be blocked by local carriers.
