Importing Hosted Messaging numbers

To import phone numbers for Hosted Messaging, you first need to check which of them can be imported and then submit the import.

Check importability

  1. Log in to the Bandwidth App.

  2. In the side navigation bar, click Numbers and select Hosted Messaging.

  3. Enter the numbers you want to import (you can add up to 5000 at once).

  4. Select the Sub-account and Location. If the Location isn't specified, the default Location will be used.

  5. Click Check Importability.

Import

  1. Once the Bandwidth App determines which numbers qualify for import, click Start Importing.

  2. Enter the subscriber information and the service address (must be a US or Canadian address).

  3. Select the Sub-account and Location. You may also enter an optional Customer Order ID.

  4. Click Submit.
