How do I cancel a port order?

For an on-net port in, you can self-service a cancellation request up until 10 minutes before your scheduled port time via The App or API. If you are requesting to cancel with less than 24 hours until scheduled Firm Order Commitment (FOC) time, you will be required to acknowledge the risk that your cancellation may not be accepted by the losing carrier, resulting in the line(s) being dropped. You will be responsible for engaging Bandwidth's support team if additional assistance is needed.

If your order is off-net or toll-free, please reach out to your Bandwidth Porting Team. These orders can typically be cancelled up to 2 business days prior to the FOC date on the port order. If a short notice cancellation within 2 days prior to FOC is needed, the Porting Team will work with the losing carrier on your request.

Note: A cancellation request within a 2 business day window may trigger an expedited cancel charge and a cancellation can't be guaranteed, so it's always best to find a way to accept a port request within 2 business days of the FOC date to avoid an accidental outage on the phone number(s).
