If a different time is needed during regular business hours, this will need to be requested, and is dependent on availability. Japan operates on JST (UTC+9) year-round — Japan does not observe daylight saving time.

Possible rejections

  • Data mismatch – incorrect customer name, address, or account number.

  • Provider mismatch – the carrier listed on the invoice differs from the underlying carrier of record.

  • Pending order – there is another order for a port request with another provider.

  • Missing numbers – there are other numbers associated to the account that need to be addressed.

  • For data mismatches, request an invoice that clearly lists the numbers to verify account details.

  • For provider mismatches, work with the current provider to confirm the underlying carrier and obtain any required validation.

  • For pending orders, the previous request needs to be cleared prior to resubmitting.

  • For missing numbers, verify the other numbers associated and decide whether the customer wants to port or cancel them prior to porting.
