Hosted Messaging LOAs

Updated over 2 weeks ago

A Letter of Authorization (LOA) is a legal document attesting that an individual has the legal authority to act on behalf of an organization or a business entity.

To enable Hosted Messaging, you must obtain a valid Hosted Messaging LOA (signed within the last 30 days) from a subscriber or a North American Numbering Plan (NANP) provider, such as a CLEC or a RespOrg. If you don't have an LOA from a NANP provider, please make sure to obtain an LOA from each subscriber before hosting telephone numbers (TNs).

Note: TNs must be listed on the LOA. The combined size of all LOAs associated with your case can't exceed 2.5 MB.

To give you a better idea of what information is required, we've included several sample LOAs below. Feel free to use them as templates and adjust your branding as you see fit.
