Initial set up
In order to create a campaign brief for a short code, you must set up a customer profile with some basic information on the customer that is looking to send traffic. Each profile can have multiple campaigns tied to it and serves as a starting point for organizing campaigns tied together by a common customer.
Creating a customer profile
Log in to the Bandwidth App.
In the side navigation bar, select Registration Center and click Customer Profiles.
Select Create Profile, provide the required details, and click Create.
Short code campaign brief
The Short Code Registration Center is replacing a previous webform used to create campaign briefs. You’ll need a customer profile in order to create a campaign brief. The campaign name and profile name will be visible in the table view, so it’s recommended to make them specific to the customer/ use case as needed to make it more easily identifiable.
Once a brief is created, it will move through the various stages of review. You can still edit it, but it will require re-review. You can use the Notes section to track the progress and comments, as well as view the denial reason and required corrections in the event your brief is denied.
Campaign brief tips
The Keywords field should include what keywords you’re using to send the automated help and opt-in messages.
The Supporting Documentation field can be used to upload additional opt-in and call-to-action documentation as needed. Please note that the file size limit is 10MB.
For requirements on each required input, please see our Short Code Registration Center Glossary.
