911 Number Provisioning

911 Number Provisioning is the process that allows customers to enter the telephone numbers of their end-users and the associated addresses into the 911 Dashboard. At the conclusion of the 911 Number Provisioning process, the telephone number is ready to call 911. In the case of E911, the address entered will be displayed at the answering PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point).

How Bandwidth is Involved with 911 Number Provisioning

Bandwidth has two redundant SBCs in which to send 911 calls. Routing should be set up as primary/secondary or round-robin.
