Call tracking refers to a technique used primarily within marketing where distinct phone numbers are assigned to campaigns, campaign segments, or advertisements. Call Tracking will retrieve the details of every phone call, such as the time of the call, duration, who called, and an audio recording of the call. Using distinct numbers will allow companies to better track the success of, and responses to, their campaigns. A common use case is using different call-tracking phone numbers in specific geographic regions to see which regions perform better.
